Hydropower site finding

Hydropower site finding services are normally provided for investors who want to invest in hydropower but do not already own a suitable site(s). We can source sites through advertising, targeted land searches or through our own contacts and tailor the site finding campaign to your requirements. Out expert services maintain maximum engagement with landowners to ensure that they are fully committed to a land lease option and assist in the development of the site to ensure that the project has maximum chance of success.

Regardless of the source of the sites, once identified we put them through our standard pre-feasibility study, and assuming they still look viable get a Exclusivity Agreement signed with the site owner.

Next we move the site through our feasibility study and pre-app consenting stages, and assuming it still looks viable take out an Option to Lease the site subject to obtaining the relevant consents.

Once the consents are obtained we can provide all of the design and delivery services to deliver the project for the investor.

Our focus on profitable renewable energy and years of experience of delivering projects means that we understand the returns on investment required by investors and the importance of accurately estimating energy production and project costs at the earlier project stages.
