Lifting the nacelle onto the tower. Renewables First can project manage the whole wind project, including the installation phase. Most of the established large wind turbine manufacturers provide an installation service, which we we would always recommend using. Assembly is a highly specialised process, best handled by a team with lots of previous experience.

There are still several preparatory steps that to be completed in advance of the installation, notably the preparation works for site access and lifting operations, ground works, grid connection upgrades and on-site electrical installation. Also selecting the most appropriate export tariff and the discharge of any planning conditions need to be arranged. Renewables First can take care of all of these issues.

Once the turbine is installed we would recommend using the manufacturer to provide an ongoing maintenance and support contract. These are generally the most cost effective way to look after your wind turbine(s) and ensure they are operating at peak efficiency all of the time.
