Windpower Site Finding

Windpower site finding

Site finding services are normally provided for investors who want to invest in wind developments but do not already own suitable site(s). We can source sites through advertising, targeted land searches or through our own contacts.

The key to effective site finding is processing potential sites quickly and effectively, and not wasting time on sites that are unsuitable for wind development. At Renewables First we have developed a lead generation and screening methodology that does just this and is proven to be effective.

Regardless of the source of the sites, once identified we put them through our standard pre-feasibility study, and assuming they still look viable get a Exclusivity Agreement signed with the site owner.

Next we move the site through our Wind Feasibility Studies, and assuming it still looks viable take out an Option to Lease the site subject to obtaining the relevant consents.

From this point forward we can provide all of the design and delivery services to deliver the project for the investor.

Our focus on profitable renewable energy and years of experience of delivering projects means that we understand the returns on investment required by investors and the importance of accurately estimating energy production and project costs at the earlier project stages.

  • Investigating connection with the grid

If you are in the Republic of Ireland, or overseas, the first step is to Contact us to discuss your requirements and to complete a Windpower Feasibility Study.
